Pay Respect at Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex

Visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex to pay respect to the people who died in the Genocide. I bought flowers from the shop right outside the complex to pay homage. I did not know the severity of the Armenian Genocide until I visited this place. 1.5 million Armenians were killed by the Ottoman Empire in the early 19th century and millions left Armenia. Turkey has not apologized till today and the world does not know much about it. This was the first genocide in history. The museum is open from 11 AM to 4:30 PM from Tuesday to Sunday. It is closed on Mondays and National Holidays. The entry is free. You can reach here by bus or taxi.
